2020-2021 ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP LEAGUE COMMENCES ON SEPTEMBER 12.

The 2020-2021 English Premiership League will start on September 12.

The season is slated to end on May 23, 2021,  stated the English premiership league.

The current season will finish on July 26, meaning teams who are not competing in European competitions will have nearly two months to prepare before the new season begins.

A statement from the Premier League read: “Premier League Shareholders today agreed to start the 2020-21 Premier League season on Sept. 12. The final match round of the campaign will take place on May 23. The Premier League will continue to consult The FA and EFL regarding the scheduling of all domestic competitions.”

The coronavirus pandemic has meant the 2019-20 Premier League season has ended much later than usual. Play halted in March and didn’t resume until June 17, with no fans allowed into stadiums to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

Cristiano Ronaldo orders £8.5m on Bugatti Centodieci after buying luxury yacht for £5.5m

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly completed his own summer signing – an £8.5MILLION Bugatti Centodieci. With the car now described as officially purchased, Ronaldo will still have to wait until 2021 to take delivery of his new motor. The Bugatti will be painted black-and-white to honour the forward’s successful stint in Turin – which shocked the world when arranged in 2018. Limited to 236 miles-per-hour, the Italian beast boasts an 8-litre, W16 engine capable of steaming out 1,600 horsepower. If Ronaldo is ever late to training, he will be pleased to know he can blast from 0 to 60mph in just 2.4 seconds. The Centodieci is the more refined version of Bugatti’s Chiron, which the star also owns after splashing £2.15m on the hypercar. And this new model comes with an incredible level of exclusivity with only ten being built.

Liverpool set to be awarded Premier League title after UEFA’s new rule

Liverpool are set to be crowned Premier League champions after UEFA insisted that the season should not be declared null and void. Leagues across Europe and other parts of the world have been suspended for months due to the global pandemic.

A number of sporting events have also been postponed including the Euro 2020, Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and more.

UEFA have decided that the club season must finish by June 30th and leagues could be canceled if they can not meet up with the stipulated time frame. This means that the 2019-20 campaign will be concluded based on merit if the run of remaining matches can not be played.

Liverpool have established a 25 point lead with nine games to go and they just need three more wins to clinch their first Premier League title in over 30 years. Champions League qualification could be decided on a points-per-game basis, if the remaining games are unable to be played. And the bottom three teams in the English top-flight division including Aston Villa Bournemouth and Norwich City, will not be affected by UEFA’s new rule.
